Texas Hospital College Volunteer Program
Challenge
On campus college recruitment events take place when the program ramps up and information is diseminated about the program, the requirements, etc. Since these didn’t take place due to COVID-19 and possibly won’t in the near future, there needed to be a different way to reach out to students about the program as the hospital starts to accept applications during the next school year. The Hospital would like for college students to understand the requirements and the process of the college volunteer program in lieu of face to face recruitment events.
Assessment
We determined that since students use their phones and computers for classes and prefer to complete items on their own-time, that a solution that gives them 24-hour access to information will be the best solution.
Solution
An informative volunteer module that provides a program overview, eligibilty requirments, volunteer committments and the volunteer onboarding porcess.
